- SKIESUnlimited Instructors
-
SKIESUnlimited offers a free training program to our incoming faculty that is suitable to use for future employment. A background clearance is required and SKIES will work with Instructors to assist in days and times which are most convenient for the Instructor. Ideas for classes include but are not limited to the following: cooking, sewing, scrap-booking, fashion design, cultural dance and dress, conversational foreign languages, fitness, fun with games, woodworking, computer graphics, web page making, robotics, photography, metal work, arts, crafts, automobile repair, bike repair, costumes, make-up and grooming, pet care and reading to name just a few!
Join the Child & Youth Services (CYS) family as a child/youth Instructor. Schools of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration & Skills (SKIES) is looking for caring volunteer instructors for the School of Arts, School of Sports, School of Academics and the School of Life Skills. Our classes serve infants through high school in a wide variety of subjects and interests. Pick up a Volunteer Instructor Packet from Parent Central Services or contact the SKIESUnlimited Director at 767-3781!
- Withdrawal Request Procedure
-
A SKIES Withdrawal Request form must be submitted to Parent Central Services or your class Instructor, no later than three (3) days prior to the last day of the month in order to avoid additional charges. Non-attendance does not garner an automatic withdraw from a program. After the initial enrollment fee, instructional programs bill the 1st of each month. Failure to meet financial obligations concerning instructional fees will result in a Request for Garnishment (DD-139) by the SKIESUnlimited Instructional Program Specialist. In the case of PCS orders or a medical emergency, please contact your program director for an Exception to Policy. Exceptions to this and all policies will be made only by the Director on an individual basis.
