FMWR ABLE Program

Are you interested in learning more about the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation? The Action Based Leadership Experience (ABLE) program is designed to introduce entry level to junior management FMWR employees to the entire Directorate. Learn more about the 30+ programs that FMWR’s offers to the Fort Johnson Community. The ABLE program combines real world experience with FMWR standardized training to expose participants to FMWR operations. The cohort is limited to a maximum of (8) participants per session.

Each cohort consists of:

  • One Monthly in-person leadership development session
  • Monthly Division shadowing experience
  • Real world project development
  • Self-Development opportunities
  •  1-on-1 mentoring session with FMWR Division Chief’s
  •  1-on-1 mentoring session with FMWR Director

Eligibility:

  • Be an FMWR employee
  • Submit a completed registration form
  • Have served continuously with FMWR for at least (1) one year
  • Have a performance evaluation with a rating of satisfactory or above
  • Hold a rank of NF-01 through NF-03 (or equivalent)
  • Completed IMCOM Academy’s Welcome to Family and MWR Orientation Course
