2vs2 Golf Tournament

• November 9 – 6pm All teams will attend the event to “pick the team pairings” along with finger foods, and sponsored sample alcohol tastings
• November 10 - 9am Shotgun start (All teams will be assigned starting hole and will begin at the same time. Once the first 9 holes are played. The winners of the first round will continue to the next 9 holes, while the consolation of the first round will drop into a consolation bracket and play the 2nd nine holes.
• November 11 – 9am The 4 teams from the Winners bracket from the previous day will play the next round. As well as the Consolation bracket.

Format:
• Each match is played in a Scramble Match Play format.
• In Scramble Match Play, each player on the team hits the shot and continue to hit from the
best shot till the hole is completed.
• The Jogging Trail is Out of Bounds
Bracket System:
• Main Bracket (Winner’s Bracket):
• 16 teams start in the Winner’s Bracket.
• Winning teams advance to the next round.
• Consolation Bracket:
• Teams that lose in the first round of the Winner’s Bracket drop into the Consolation
Bracket.
• Consolation Bracket follows a single-elimination format.

• Teams in the Consolation Bracket must win all subsequent matches to stay in the
tournament.
Match Structure:
Round 1 (16 Teams):
• 8 matches, 8 winners advance to Round 2, 8 consolations move to the Consolation
Bracket.
Round 2 (8 Teams in Winner’s Bracket, 8 Teams in Consolation Bracket):
• Winner’s Bracket: 4 matches, 4 winners advance to Round 3, 4 consolations move to
Consolation Bracket.
• Consolation Bracket: 4 matches, 4 winners advance within the Consolation Bracket, 4
consolations are eliminated.
Round 3:
Winner’s Bracket:
2 matches, 2 winners advance to the final, the 2 losers are eliminated.
• Consolation Bracket: 4 matches, 2 winners advance within the Consolation Bracket, 2
consolations are eliminated.
Final Round:
• The 2 Winners of the Winner’s Bracket play each other and the winner will become
Champions, and the losers will be 2nd place.
• The 2 teams from the Consolation’s Bracket play and winner will be take the Consolation
prize
